Lauren joined Portnoy, Garner & Nail in 2019. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from Florida State University where she double majored in international affairs and political science. While attending Florida State, she also minored in French and was awarded the Winthrop-King scholarship to complete a study abroad program in Paris, France. She graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law where she was an Alex and Betty Smith scholarship recipient.
After law school, Lauren gained valuable legal experience practicing as a criminal defense attorney, prosecutor, and child advocacy attorney. Lauren has litigated hundreds of civil and criminal cases across Georgia during her career. Her experience makes her a knowledgeable and zealous advocate, both inside and outside of the courtroom.
During her free time, Lauren enjoys traveling, cheering on the Seminoles and spending time with family and friends. She lives in Hiram with her husband and son.
